Marloes Conservation and Ty Twt

I have been restoring historic buildings and sites for over 25 years.  Based in west Wales I have worked on several buildings within Pembrokeshire and across south and mid Wales.  I provide a range of services from Project Management to writing Statements of Significance, Conservation Plans and Design and Access Statements.

Since leaving the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park at the end of 1999 I have been a sole trader working as Ty Twt Conservation (which roughly translates from Welsh as ‘cute little house’)  and in December 2016 I set up Marloes Conservation Limited.

With experience in the public, private and charitable sectors I am used to dealing with a range of buildings from the humble to the grand.  Knowing it was time to start a website I decided to design one in the form of a blog as all projects and buildings have so many stories I wanted to try tell these and explain the range of thoughts and processes that are involved in even the most simple of projects.

I hope you enjoy this site and find it useful and enjoyable whether you are seeking advice and help or just have an interest in old buildings and history.
